Hello everyone and welcome to my professional interests blogs. Here you can read about Ruby, Rails, CRM, Marketing, Data Warehousing and I'll keep you posted on the related Books I'm reading.

I'm a CRM consultant with a background in computer science. Most of my days are spent implementing projects in the area of Analytical CRM (also known as 360 degree/total customer view). The goal is to gain greater insight into our customers so that we may offer them more customized services and drive measurable improvents to the bottom-line. We do this by way of direct marketing (also known as database marketing). You can get more details about me by reading my Linked-in profile.

So why Ruby and Rails? No specific reason. It's just that I like to follow technology trends and programming languages is one of the topics that intersts me. I've come to use Ruby quite alot for scripting tasks and have been toying around with Rails for a while too (though not seriously).

I've also started a personal projet, which will be using Rails and I've decided to discuss my experiences on the topic on this blog. Of course I won't limit myself to just my project but to the "Rails" topics in general.
